We understand how important it is for parents to take an active role in their children’s leaning.
The Little Souls Music Academy is committed to sharing and developing musical experiences with your children. Like any other school itinerant music program, LSMA is delivered and taught by a team of trained professionals.
We encourage all parents and schools to encourage their children into music as it has the capacity to help with the child’s growth in other learning areas.
OUR BAND PROGRAMME
Little Souls Music Academy offers a band programme to primary and intermediate schools around Auckland. Our lead teacher Malcolm Lakatani designed this programme to support children who want to experience playing in a band. Schools have instruments and space but don’t always have staff or resources and our LSMA mentors come out and tutor the whole band once or twice a week for the whole term or for the whole year. One of the goals is always to prepare the band for performances for school assemblies and work towards a small set list that can be performed at school events. To enquire about our band programme …..
INSTRUMENT LESSONS
The Little Souls Music Academy offer instrument lessons in schools and private one on one lessons. Our keyboard, guitar, vocal and drum teachers visit schools during school hours and provide weekly half hour lessons that parents/whanau pay for. PRE-SCHOOL MUSIC PROGRAMME
Little Souls Music Academy offers music experiences in kindergartens, daycares and preschools. Music, song, instrument experimentation led by our teachers and we bring everything with us so staff at the centres can join in without worrying about set up and pack down. We encourage centres to book at least fortnightly for a term but can do one off sessions when requested We have specialised Pacific Sessions which are one off 1 hour sessions that were designed to support learning during language weeks but are now our most requested sessions.
